Quantum to go
Your Stage for Quantum Physics Outreach – Call for Contributions
2025 marks the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology – and we’re joining the celebration: From September 11 to October 31, 2025, the P26 – House of the University of Bonn, located in the heart of the city center, will become a vibrant space for hands-on experiences with quantum computing.
The interactive exhibition Quantum to go brings together cutting-edge research, education, and society – in a high-visibility location with natural foot traffic. Our goal: to spark enthusiasm for future technologies, make science accessible, and especially inspire young people to engage with STEM and physics.
We’re looking for contributors!
We warmly invite you to take part in shaping the accompanying program – with formats such as:
• Talks or panel discussions
• Workshops or hands-on activities for school groups
• Live experiments or demos
• Degree program or research project showcases
• Product demonstrations, art installations, and more
Contributions are welcome in both English and German. Whether your idea is directly quantum-related or more broadly physics-based – we’re looking forward to a wide range of contributions!
What we offer:
We provide an attractive, flexible event space in the exhibition showroom – right in the city center, with basic technical equipment, a seminar room for approx. 30 seats, and the entire showroom for up to 100 guests at a time.
The exhibition is open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM and on weekends from 2 PM to 6 PM. Evening events are also possible – just let us know your preferred time slot.
How to join:
Submit your idea now via our online form: www.ml4q.de/quantum-to-go
