Silvia Pappalardi awarded the Di Braccio Prize by the Italian Academy of Science
ML4Q Professor, Silvia Pappalardi, was awarded last November the Di Braccio Prize by the Italian Academy of Science (Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei). The prize is dedicated to outstanding physics scholars younger that 35 years. It honors Silvia’s contributions to “statistical quantum physics, particularly to entanglement effects in many-body systems. Following a lightning international career, with a doctorate at SISSA, and a Marie Skłodowska Curie Fellowship at the École Normale Supérieure, the candidate now has a professorship and a group at the prestigious University of Cologne” – so the laudatio held at the ceremony on the 10th of November in Rome.
Beyond happy and honoured for the day spent at the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei in Rome, the Italian’s Academy of Sciences. Lynxes (Lincei) are legendary known for having very sharp eyesight, the same one that should characterize those who devote themselves to science. https://t.co/KQyUZMxzzj
