Watch below a recently released introductory video on the research program of the JARA Institute for Quantum Information (QI) at Forschungszentrum Jülich and RWTH Aachen University.
The JARA Institute for Quantum Information – which is co-founded and led by Hendrik Bluhm and David DiVincenzo – combines the forces of theoretical and experimental research in quantum information science, with the overarching goal of making key advances towards to the realization of large-scale quantum computation. The institute is a joined initiative of the RWTH Aachen University and of the Research Center Jülich, which institutionalizes the long-lasting collaboration between the two institutions in the field of Quantum Information Science.
Key research topics include semiconductor spin-qubits (physics and technology), quantum error correction, Majorana qubits and new principles for the implementation of quantum computation in noisy systems.
