For the first hybrid March Meeting of the American Physical Society (APS), more than 12.000 physicists will get together online and in Chicago from March 14th to 18th. Under the umbrella of the initiative Research in Germany , Quantum Alliance will provide detailed information on the German physics research landscape and about career and funding opportunities for scientists of all career stages.

Meet us at the “Research in Germany” Exhibitor Stand

At the “Research in Germany” Exhibitor Stand, visitors can gain an overview of the German research landscape and learn more about PhD, research, funding and collaboration opportunities in Germany in the fields of physics.

Online Workshop “Doing Physics in Germany”

Wednesday, March 16 2022, 9am-10am (CDT) / 15pm-16pm (CET)

A live online workshop will provide international researchers with insights into different research and funding opportunities and possible career paths in the field of physics in Germany. Workshop participants can get in touch with recipients of individual research funding programs offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH) or the German Research Foundation (DFG). They can ask PhD candidates and scientists working at German universities in the Quantum Alliance, at Max Planck Institutes and Research Schools or at institutes of the applied Fraunhofer Society about their experiences within the German research landscape.

Exhibitor Page and Online Workshop can only be accessed by registered participants of the Virtual APS March Meeting 2021.
