Watch the full-length interview with Gláucia and find out more about her journey in science and her thoughts on systemic problems in the academic quantum research community. Having started off from Brazil where young people of different ethnicities and economical status experience inequalities in access to higher education, Gláucia moved to Europe where other inequality issues, mostly the gender-related leaky pipeline, become more apparent as she advances in her career. In the second part of the interview, Gláucia talks about Q-Turn and her experience as participant and speaker at Q-Turn’s first edition in 2018 as well as her experience as member of the organizing committee of the second and online edition taking place this week.

ML4Q is glad to support Q-Turn 2020 as part of its efforts to foster equal opportunities in the community. Find out more on Q-Turn on the event website.
